Ondo State Ranks 3rd in National Education Assessment

In a remarkable turnaround, Ondo State has secured the 3rd position in the latest National Education Assessment Report, up from 12th place two years ago. The report, released by the National Examination Council, highlighted significant improvements in literacy and numeracy rates across public primary schools. Key factors include the government's free textbook initiative, teacher training programs, and the digital learning pilot in 50 schools. The Commissioner for Education praised teachers and parents, saying, "This is proof that when we invest in our children, results follow." However, he noted that more work is needed in rural areas like Ile-Oluji and Ose LGAs.
